When you join our waitlist, we will gather information regarding your preferences, including the kitten's breed, gender, color, patterns, and quality. For instance, you may specify preferences such as a Blue Bicolor Ragdoll Male or a Brown Tabby Maine Coon Female. Please be aware that having more preferences may result in a longer wait until a kitten is born that meets all of them. For further details, please refer to the "Purchase Info" section on our website.

To secure your position on the waitlist, we require a small non-refundable deposit of $500, along with the signing of our Waitlist Agreement. This deposit will be deducted from the total price of your kitten at the time of sale. It is important to note that until we receive the deposit, your position will not be reserved.

Each individual on the waitlist has the option to voluntarily skip up to two times and be prioritized at the top of the waitlist for the subsequent litter.

Upon the birth of kittens, we promptly notify new prospective parents. Ragdolls, being a pointed breed, are born pure white, so we are unable to confirm the kitten's color until they are 2 weeks old. It is noteworthy that kittens enter the "claiming stage" when they reach 6 to 8 weeks of age, during which we can also determine the kitten's quality.

During this stage, we systematically go down the waitlist for new parents to select their new companions. Once a kitten is chosen, we update its status as reserved accordingly. We will then provide you with an estimated pick-up date, which is typically when the kitten is 13-14 weeks old.

Additionally, we will send you regular updates, pictures, and videos of your kitten every other week, allowing you to observe their growth. We will also notify you about the kitten's spay/neuter appointment date, so you have ample time to prepare and gather the necessary supplies.

Exceptions are made for show/breeders interested in acquiring a kitten from Katy Cattery. If you fall into this category, please contact us, and we will provide further details about our process. We appreciate your understanding regarding this matter.

Furthermore, we maintain a secondary waitlist due to our observation that many clients have specific preferences for their kittens. For instance, if a client desires a female kitten from our Queen Viola, but she only has one female in her current litter, and there is already another client on the primary waitlist who also wants a female, the former client will be automatically moved to the secondary waitlist until Queen Viola has another litter with a female kitten available. These situations are unforeseen and do not count as one of your voluntary skips.
